OVE Lithium Battery — Warranty Terms Conditions

1. Warranty Overview

OVE Lithium Battery is backed by a 5-year limited warranty, subject to the following breakdown:

  • 5-Year Cell Replacement Warranty

  • 2-Year Complete Unit Replacement

  • 3-Year Free Service Support

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and functional failure of the battery or BMS during the covered period.


2. Warranty Coverage Details

Included:

  • Repair or replacement of any faulty OVE Lithium Battery components due to manufacturing defects

  • BMS and protection circuit replacement (under standard operating conditions)

  • Support for firmware updates (via on-site visit from OVE technician)

Not Included:

  • Tools, accessories, mounting hardware, or damage due to third-party devices

  • Cosmetic wear and tear that does not impact functionality


3. Conditions for Warranty Eligibility

To maintain warranty eligibility, all the following conditions must be met:

  • Battery must be installed indoors by an OVE-approved installer

  • Product model & serial number must be filled in, stamped, and signed by the seller

  • Customer must retain the original invoice/proof of purchase

  • Installation must comply with the user manual and installation guide

  • Warranty seal must remain intact and OVE logo must not be removed


4. Environmental & Usage Conditions

  • Operating temperature: 0°C to 50°C (recommended: ≤25°C)

  • Storage SOC: 20%–50%, recharge every 6 months if stored

  • Battery must not be installed in:

    • Coastal regions (within 500 meters of the sea)

    • Outdoor environments or near flammable/corrosive materials

  • Maximum allowable load: 100 Amps continuous

  • Do not interconnect with non-OVE batteries


5. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not apply if:

  • Product is damaged due to:

    • Lightning, flooding, fire, or natural disasters

    • Short circuits, power surges, unstable voltage, or inverter malfunctions

    • Mishandling, misuse, improper installation, or transportation damage

  • The battery is opened, tampered with, or repaired by unauthorized personnel

  • Product is overused, abused, or operated outside recommended parameters

  • Firmware or BMS is altered to manipulate cycle or usage data

  • Battery is used or stored in excessively hot environments

  • Battery is mixed or interconnected with non-OVE batteries

  • Serial number, OVE logo, or warranty sticker is damaged or removed

  • Battery fails due to external impact, pest damage, or environmental rust


6. Firmware Updates

OVE Lithium Batteries are not Wi-Fi enabled but come with Bluetooth support for local monitoring.
Firmware updates (if required) will be performed by OVE support personnel on-site.


7. Warranty Claim Process

  1. Report any issues to OVE support or your authorized reseller within 48 hours

  2. Provide the original invoice with serial number and installation date

  3. Deliver the product to an OVE-authorized service center (drop-off & pickup is the customer’s responsibility)

  4. Battery will be assessed within 7 working days of receiving the complaint and product

  5. If a valid fault is found:

    • The unit will be repaired or replaced

    • Replacement parts become the property of OVE

  6. If a dispute arises, evaluation by a certified 3rd-party testing agency can be requested (charges apply unless claim is validated)


8. Legal and General Terms

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser

  • Warranty service is provided under manufacturer’s terms and conditions

  • In case of disputes or legal proceedings, jurisdiction will be Lahore, Pakistan

  • Warranty terms and conditions may change without prior notice
